Nature and photography Come Alive

First I must say that the Faerie Magazine was most impressive with the layout and articles, at least in this addition that I could see. In the current issue that I came across; I've found a new artist to follow. Artist Katerina Plotnikova shoots her work combining nature and animals together into a encapsulating and uncanny surrealism that I find most alluring.

" I wold love for anyone
    who sees my work to
     understand that even though
    the world has retreated
    further and further from
nature, we still find a balance..."

Snap Shots

Going on any adventure-travel excursion whether for work or pleasure can sometimes do a number on your health and diet. It can be exciting to be carried away into another culture, but if you drift away from your nutritional plan then your in for a rude awakening. But in Cooking Light Bill Allen a photographer/editor for Natural Geographic was woken up when his results from the doctor came back looking a bit shabby. So Bill as he mentions in the article had to change up his diet-life style plan so that he could continue traveling.

Photographer

I discovered German photographer Helmut Newton in an August 2011 Vanity Fair. His work is fantastic and now he also has a photo book out called "Helmut Newton: Polaroids" I myself enjoy looking through Polaroid photos and how the photos always seem to be alive.  Helmut Newton Polaroids. Its a shame that he died so suddenly in 2004. Helmut Newton Foundation
